Between 2022 and 2025, the Premier League will raise €6.32bn (£36.7bn at today’s prices) in Premier League broadcast rights outside the UK alone. British operators will contribute 5.96 billion euros (34.6 billion R$).
Players like Pulisic of the US, Raul Jimenez of Mexico, Luis Diaz of Colombia and Hong Min Son of South Korea have appreciated the level of the Premier League’s brand so much that their TV rights outside the UK are worth more than those within it.
The US network NBC will pay most of the cost of the international pie, which will pay about 2.4 billion euros (13.9 billion Brazilian reais) for the rights to the English competition until 2028. Christian Pulisic has a big role in it, with an average audience of 600,000 spectators victorious in all matches.
Another large part of the amount was spent by the Nordic countries. Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland will be able to watch the Premier League thanks to the contract under which Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT) acquired the broadcasting rights between 2022 and 2028. The contract value exceeds 2 billion euros.
In addition to these sites, the English Premier League is also broadcast in many countries in Africa, Asia, South and Central America and Europe.
