On Wednesday (2/3), the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, held a new press conference to talk about The seventh day of the Russian offensive on Ukraine. In the letter Zelensky even said, “They will send Russia away with the disgrace it deserves.”
The president also used the moment to praise the “heroic” resistance of the Ukrainians. We are a nation that broke the enemy’s plans in a week. Plans written years ago: left, full of hatred for our country and our people,” Zelensky said in a video.
In addition, he said that he admired the citizens who resisted Russia’s advance for seven days and even alluded to the Russian forces. He warned all the occupiers that the Ukrainians would reject them. You must forever remember that we will never give up.”
Zelensky also announced that nearly 9,000 Russian soldiers died in one week – a figure that could not be immediately verified and rejected by the Russian government.
