University College London, one of the UK’s top educational institutions, opens the door for applications annually for full and partial scholarships for international undergraduate and postgraduate students. In the 2022 edition, one hundred opportunities will be offered to accredited students in one of the programs offered by the university.
For undergraduate students, there are 30 scholarships available. All cover 100% of tuition costs and up to ten of them provide financial assistance to cover daily expenses during the program period. For Masters students, 70 scholarships worth £15,000 will be made available, covering more than half of the programme’s value.
How do you get the bags?
Scholarship programs for international students are opened annually and only after the university application period. So the open scholarships are for students who have already passed one of the programs offered by University College London. However, application periods for undergraduate and graduate programs vary throughout the year, and some will open in the coming months.
How to apply for bachelor’s and master’s scholarships
Accredited students must demonstrate a low-income background as per College London’s income grading criteria. The university is defined as low-income students whose families receive an annual income of up to £25,000.
In addition to family income, students who can apply for scholarships are nominated by the UCL Office of Admissions, which takes into account the documents submitted during application and completes a form with the following questions:
- When choosing options with UCAS, will UCL be your consistent choice?
- Did you already have a college degree? (for undergraduate students).
- What degree (UK equivalency) did you get in your undergraduate studies? (for postgraduate students).
- Please provide details of your highest qualification, including institution name, country and year of completion (eg UCL, UK, 2021).
- If you have more information you would like to provide about your education to date, please do so here (500 characters max).
In addition, candidates must prove and answer a series of questions related to family and personal income. All topics for the graduation application can be found at this link (Available here) and postgraduate studies at this link (Available here).
