“The flute at the gates of dawn”. This is the literal translation of the title of Pink Floyd’s audio work, released in 1967. The production is the band’s only work made under the leadership of Syd Barrett, who left the band after having problems with chemical dependence.
With psychedelic and experimental elements, the group’s debut album was inspired by the children’s literary work “O Vento nos Salgueiros”, and is considered one of the pioneers of the “art rock” subgenre, where guitar and keyboard influences prevail with experimental song effects. God Pan is known to live in caves and roam in mountains and valleys. He is fond of music, always has a flute.
