The chameleon of the masked singer, Thiago Fragoso wins a consolation award with Ivete TV News

Thiago Fragoso hit the beam, but didn’t win the second season of The masked singer. The actor was revealed as a chameleon and ranked second on the reality show on Globo. However, he did get a consolation prize from the show’s host, Ivete Sangalo: a chance to record a song with her.

The invitation was made shortly before the singer’s identity was revealed. “What a talent! I don’t know who you are yet, Chameleon. But I want to invite you to record a song with me. I can’t let such a talented chameleon pass by without writing a song with you and recording together, that’s what made Fragoso fall to his knees.”

When he took off his mask, the translator, who performed a version of Aerosmith’s I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing, was touched and thanked him for the opportunity to participate in the attraction. The artist said, “I am so excited to be here. The program gives me something very powerful terrifying. It has become very clear to me that fiction is liberating, and you don’t have to be stuck in Portuguese or English.”

He even joked about the dynamic he formed with Judge Tata Wernick, and with him Exchange “flirt” throughout the season. “Tatá is world class. I thought it was cool. I didn’t see anything in fiction, so sometimes I’d talk about Tatá and I’d look at Taís [Araujo]’ joked Fragoso.

“I have this attitude as an artist: I’ll never do anything halfway. It’s not because I’m in my 30s and I feel so calm and relaxed here. The music has expanded this time, I think it’s one of the things I love about it,” he added.
