Bolsonaro says the ‘problem’ for not giving police officers a bigger reshuffle is ‘colleagues other servers’

President Jair Bolsonaro said on Monday (30) that the “big problem” for not awarding adjustments to Federal Road Police officers higher than expected for the average civil service is servers that “do not recognize” the restructuring of police officers “without giving even an arbitrary premium to the other party.” .

– And I tell you publicly, PRF (Personnel of the Federal Highway Police): The biggest problem is not on our part, but colleagues, and other servers, who do not admit to restructuring you without giving raises, but even offending the other.

In the midst of negotiations to reset the servers, the president attempted to give a specific increase to the Federal Police and the National Prison Service (Depen). However, he noted the difficulty of negotiating with other sectors. Last week, he said the “trend” was a 5% readjustment for all servers. Bolsonaro has already cited threats of strikes and criticism from other groups.

After saying the government had “turned a red light” on the expenditures, this Monday he said he could not give an increase to “anyone” without asking for a “budget allocation for it” and that he would not “incur a liability crime.”

– People of the PRF, we are the first government to have a spending cap. I cannot give an increase in the PRF, to the PF, in revenue, to anyone, without requiring a budget for it. We are slaves of the law, we will not look for alternatives, deceive, take the crime of responsibility to serve anyone,” he said.

On Friday, Extra showed that the government will cut about R$14 billion in the budget to make room for the adjustment of civil servants’ salaries and to accommodate the increase in mandatory expenditures. The blockade will be higher than the R$8.2 billion expected in the Income and Expenditure Monitoring Bulletin, which was released by the Economy Ministry last week.

The initial idea was to meet the increase in mandatory expenses only now, such as the harvest plan and the payment of the mills. But the government decided to increase the ban all at once and already include the amount needed to grant a 5% readjustment to all servers, which would require a budget space of R$6.3 billion.
