This Wednesday (13), Pumas Onam and Celta de Vigo faced each other at the Estadio Olimpico Universitario, in Mexico City, in an international friendly match. The score was 1 to 1 between the Mexicans and the Spaniards in the background due to an unusual situation.

The Europeans, led by Eduardo Caudet, had to improvise in their uniforms, because the baggage did not reach Mexican territory.

Celta de Vigo’s arrival in Mexico City was not at all pleasant, as logistical problems left the washi without a uniform for warm-up and also for the friendly match.

Thus, the team objecting to the Spanish first division had to “order” new improvised kits in a black shirt.

As if this were not enough, he “betrayed” the Spanish team Adidas, the brand that sponsors them, because during the warm-up exercises they had to borrow clothes from the hosts, who are sponsored by rival Nike.

Despite all the setbacks, Celta de Vigo took advantage of this situation with humor and even “showed” on social networks their new uniform for the game against Pumas UNAM, explaining why they used another design.

“Who hasn’t lost their bag on the plane? To big ailments, great treatments! Thanks to adidas, we will be wearing unique and unrepeatable kits, with the most important thing: our badge on the chest,” the official Celta de Vigo Twitter account wrote.

Although the issue was resolved, this “new” set was about to not arrive, as the chests were delivered with all the uniforms minutes before the match began.
