Liz Truss says she has a bold plan to grow Britain’s economy



In her first speech as UK Prime Minister on Tuesday, Liz Truss highlighted that she has three short-term priorities in her new role: boosting economic growth by cutting interest rates, taking action on energy bills and boosting the economy. National Health Service (NHS).

The former foreign secretary told Boris Johnson, the new prime minister, that history would see her predecessor as a “very important prime minister”.
