CUT Restaurant at 45 Park Lane has opened its permanent al fresco dining terrace and serves dishes from Wolfgang Puck’s CUT menu and BAR 45 drinks.
An extension of CUT, the new arena will be open daily for lunch and dinner from 12 noon. The space, located next to the restaurant on the corner of Park Lane Street and Curzon Street, is accessible through the hotel’s main entrance.
The terrace offers an additional 22 seats with a “captain’s table”, inspired by the charming mid-century design of the Riva yacht, which can seat up to six people. The space faces Hyde Park trees and an elegant frameless glass screen shelters the light-flooded dining area, reflecting the architectural design of 45 Park Lane.
Newly Appointed Executive Chef at 45 Park Lane, Elliot Grover She prepared a number of new, lighter dishes for the menu just in time for summer. Grover’s new seasonal menu highlights include refrigerated sweet corn soup, spring carnoli risotto, grilled Australian tiger prawns, tempura onion rings, and homemade noodles with original lobsters, as well as a wide selection of bone-in steaks and Grover’s signature dish: grilled whole sea bass.
Known for serving the best steakhouse in London, CUT has a modern take on traditional American cuisine. Grover celebrates ingredients sourced locally in the UK and maintains close relationships with CUT suppliers and producers. Elliott draws inspiration from growing up in Cornwall to influence his cuisine and emphasize sustainably sourced fish in his hometown.
Known for its interest in art, 45 Park Lane is a living canvas of a cutting-edge collection of contemporary British and international art. The Damien Hirst Diamond Dust Butterfly series, shown at CUT, has inspired a continuation of the hotel’s art history abroad, in the form of a butterfly garden. Delicately cut motifs of butterflies adorn beds of lavender, capturing and reflecting iridescent light.
Guests will enter the balcony through the lobby at 45 Park Lane and down the wood-panelled lobby. As you approach the balcony, enter the exterior, with stunning butterfly-colored optical resin panels made by the famous artist. Jill Berlowitz. This stunning installation, introduced in July, creates enchanting reflections and refractions of light and color.
45 Park Lane is a vibrant, luxurious and welcoming club-like hotel that is London’s home to an international audience. New for 2022, the cigar menu will also be available to guests, with smoking allowed on the CUT Terrace.
CUT Terrace is open daily from 12:00 to 23:00, the last seat is at 21:00.
