According to statistics, a total of 127,123 people have died in the UK from the 4,375,814 cases confirmed since the onset of the Govt-19 epidemic.
But if the cases in which death certificates cite the new corona virus as a contributing factor are added together, the remaining number will rise to 150,419 deaths.
The number of cases in the last 24 hours was 2,472, down from 3,658 the previous day.
Data show that 261,096 people were vaccinated against Covit-19 on Monday, of whom 59,905 were 201,191 with the first dose.
In total, 40 million vaccines have been administered since December, of which 32,250,481 are the first dose and 6,541,174 are the second dose, which is administered between three and 12 weeks.
The Govt-19 epidemic has caused at least 2,947,319 deaths worldwide, resulting in more than 136.5 million infections, according to a report released by the French company AFP.
In Portugal, 16,923 people have died from 828,173 confirmed diseases, according to the Directorate General of Health’s latest bulletin.
The disease is spread by a new corona virus detected in late 2019 in the city of Wuhan in central China.
