Broadcasters are lining up to hire Gary Lineker after he was suspended over anti-government views: report

BBC star Gary Lineker has been suspended from the traditional program Match of the Day, which he has been presenting since 1999. The suspension came after the former player shared on social media an opinion contrary to the current government in England, about the immigration bill in United kingdom.

With the script, other broadcasters in the country sought contact to hire the announcer. According to The Sun’s investigation, BT Sport and ITV are looking to hire the English television icon.

BT Sport is looking to revamp its lineup after being bought by Warner Brothers Discovery. They plan to expand their football coverage, which already includes coverage of the UEFA Champions League and Premier League. Gary Lineker will be the new face of a certain project.

Another broadcaster who is also interested in the presenter is ‘ITV’. Certain Car has been eyeing the former England player for some time, but has never managed to actually pull off attacks. Officials are again seeking to come to terms with the phenomenon of sports programs.

The BBC said in a statement that Lineker’s criticism of the illegal immigration law on Twitter “violated our guidelines”. In a post, the former player compared the vocabulary used by the government on the refugee issue to what was seen in Germany in the decade in which Adolf Hitler came to power.

The announcer tried to put another presenter to replace the symbol after the comment, but it didn’t work. The Match of the Day hosts refused to appear in solidarity with the veteran.
