Friends say she is shaky and won’t sleep

Patricia Poita was seen last Friday on a beach in Rio de Janeiro, at night, alone with her head down. The photos, after a week in which they received much criticism in “Incontro”, were interpreted on the networks as “armed bankruptcy”. However, it seems that the presenter is really going through a very delicate moment.

This columnist from splash I’ve spoken with people who live and work with the presenter, who say Patricia didn’t handle criticism well, and that she continues to explain that she didn’t do anything on purpose to hurt anyone.

A confidant said, “She has had sleepless nights, is losing weight and is very shaken. She is not feeling well.”

Another source in the column says the presenter was making an effort to lead the “get-together.” “She’s clearly making an effort to smile, and that worries those who work with her behind the scenes. Her feeling is that she’s afraid to say anything and face new criticism and all that cancellation,” she says.

After the beach bust, Patricia received calls and letters from many friends and family. She lives with her parents in Rio – she is alone in a home in SP – and has turned on the alarm for people close to her.

What does the photographer say?

Victor Chapetta, the photographer who took pictures of Patricia on the beach, spoke to this columnist and denied that it was a bust. He gave several interviews over the weekend, explaining that he didn’t collect clicks to “pretend” that the presenter was wrong.

“After I took the pictures, I talked to her. And I said, ‘I hope everything gets better.’ And she replied, ‘I didn’t do anything on purpose.’ And that doesn’t sit well with all the comments,” says the photographer.

“I’ve already apologized.”

Patricia went viral last Monday (3) after interrupting Manuel Soares on “Incontro”. The presenter, with expression, does not like being interrupted by his colleague.

“It was one of the many coincidences that can happen on a live show,” Patricia told a Splash columnist. “I was struggling with a new technology and was looking for help to make it happen. So much so that the moment I realized what had happened, I immediately apologized.” Elements of the show direct.”

After Patricia’s statement, the presenter no longer intends to comment on the matter.

This column contacted Manuel Soares, and he said through his press office, he would not comment on the matter.

Manuel is an important part of the program

This isn’t the first time that much has been said about a potentially turbulent relationship between the two presenters. Patricia has always been careful to deny it, and in an interview with this columnist at the end of 2022, she defined those comments as vicious.

“Manuel is an important part of the program. We are a team that is focused on giving the audience the best. In addition to our amazing and wonderful team working behind the camera, we also have Michelle [Loreto]Tati and Valeria [Almeida], who are always looking for the best for those on the other side of the screen. I have great pride and love for my teammates. Our team is very united and they love what they do without exception,” he said at the time.
