Max Holloway has another test on Saturday, taking on former featherweight champion Arnold Allen.
The two will clash in the main event of UFC Fight Night in Kansas City, with Holloway looking to bounce back from his third loss to Alexander Volkanovski – who knocked him out – as Britain’s Allen earns his 13th straight win.
Besides Volkanovsky, Holloway has been flawless against every featherweight he’s fought since 2013, including Jose Aldo (twice), Frankie Edgar, Brian Ortega and current interim champion Yair Rodriguez.
Meanwhile, Allen has a 12-fight winning streak – including 10 in the UFC – and bested Calvin Katar in his last fight, putting pressure on the American until Katar was injured.
