OpenAI announced that ChatGPT will soon become more powerful

OpenAI, in a tweet posted last Friday (12), announced that ChatGPT Plus will soon get enhancements and become even more powerful.

According to the company’s announcement, the world’s most popular chatbot will be able to access the Internet and connect to plug-ins from other companies.

“We’re rolling out web browsing and plugins to all ChatGPT Plus users next week! Going from alpha to beta, they’re allowing ChatGPT to access the Internet and use over 70 different types of plugins,” OpenAI said in its statement.

Considering the time since the announcement was made, some ChatGPT Plus users must already be enjoying the new features implemented in AI.

Before the announcement was made, OpenAI had already made the changes available to ChatGPT Plus beta users.

According to reports, in the first test updates, the number of allowed plug-ins is only 11, and it is gradually evolving until the official announcement.

With access to plug-ins and the Internet, ChatGPT will be able to perform new tasks, such as accessing restricted databases, filling out forms itself and accessing updated data, as other AIs have already done.

In its free version, the OpenAI chatbot is limited to information released through 2021 and demonstrates some other difficulties in understanding the prompts (questions) made by users.

According to some users who have already used this “bulky” version of ChatGPT, the AI is actually more powerful with plugins, especially when several of them are activated at the same time.

It is worth noting that in order to access ChatGPT Plus, a subscription is required, which costs 20 USD (about R$100) per month.
