The emergency plan published by the São Jerónimo Regional Hospital, in the Carboniferous region, on Saturday (14/10), specifies the mandatory use of masks as well as the complete restriction of visits. These measures have been adopted by the Hospital Infection Control Service due to the increase in coronavirus cases.
Last Wednesday (11/10), Fiocruz issued an alert regarding an increase in Covid-19 cases in several states, including Rio Grande do Sul, and the entity also called on residents to update their vaccinations.

Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases, the Hospital Infection Control Service updates the recommendations for the use of masks at the São Jerónimo Regional Hospital.
