TV Globo has issued a kind of alert about the future prospects of journalist and presenter Tadeo Schmidt. According to sources from the channel’s contracts department, Tadeo Schmidt’s future outlook may not be good. Internally, they also evaluated an error on the part of the broadcaster himself: Marcos Mion would be the correct name to be included in the team of Multishow Award presenters, while Tadeo should have been responsible for presenting Criança Esperança instead of Mion.
However, according to the channel’s sources, radio executives did not expect the attraction to lead to a “fiasco” with the audience. The TV series “Todas as Flores” provided Multishow award programming with a good audience rating, which ended up falling and practically putting the broadcaster in a technical tie with RecordTV, which broadcasts the reality show A Fazenda 15.
The Almighty saw RecordTV approaching leadership closely. At 11:40 p.m., for example, TV Globo scored 8 points while RecordTV’s reality show scored 7.5 audience points. On the other hand, Fazenda ended up breaking the audience record with the attraction, which was also no longer able to reach good levels as it had in previous releases.
In any case – whether in Criança Esperança or in Prémio Multishow – the broadcaster was already intending to “warm up” the image of presenter Tadeu Schmidt for the next edition of Big Brother Brasil. But the casting ended up being the wrong attraction according to the channel’s sources. Part of the broadcaster also did not understand why Marcus Mione was not chosen for the award, since his contract with the broadcaster stipulates that Mione will be present in the coverage of major music events broadcast by the broadcaster in open or closed programmes.
Also according to sources from the channel’s contracts department, the broadcaster feels fear for the future of Tadeo Schmidt and his career, which is why next year they will talk about the best way to reassign the broadcaster to the broadcaster, to prevent this situation from happening. The same happened with broadcaster Fernanda Gentile, and many other professionals who were displaced from their fields of interest and frustrated achievements, such as Thiago Lever, who felt the desire to leave the sports sector and move it to the heart of entertainment.
