In a video posted on social media, Municipal Health Secretary Regiane Matos took a position on the accusations made by Councilor Dr. Elderson (not a party) that she directed bribes in the department. At the time of the accusations, Dr. Elderson provided no evidence to support these allegations.
She stated in the post that she would take appropriate measures to confront the alleged slander and defamation attempts.

What does the city council say?
As reported by FolhaBV, the Boa Vista City Hall announced, last Thursday (7), that it had not been informed of “any accusation” in relation to the actions of the secretary.
Simok explained, “Any official complaint submitted to the competent authorities will be duly investigated by the municipality, based on the standards of transparency, ethics, and commitment to society, in accordance with what the legislation stipulates and which values public administration.”
