When passion starts, life seems to stop. What really matters is the presence of the other person. These behaviors are the result of a chemical cocktail whose main components are dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine, and cortisol.

Dopamine: It is related to motivation and reward. It helps you focus on achieving goals, and even visualize them. The neurotransmitter also triggers a greater interest in new things, i.e. liking becomes the thing that is loved, special and unique. Under this hormonal influence, potential flaws are completely ignored, i.e. love is blind.

Serotonin: Here the results of studies are not consistent. It is believed that in the early stages of emotion, its levels decrease. Low levels of serotonin are associated with obsessive-compulsive disorder and obsessive thoughts. This explains the desire to send messages all the time and expect responses to arrive every millisecond.
