The Ministry of Health has partnered with Google to improve access to information about basic health units (UBS). This collaboration, announced yesterday, covers the dissemination of data such as location, contacts, opening hours and vaccination schedule.

As the Ministry explained, the project includes updating the details of more than 40,000 health posts in search results and on Google Maps, using the information provided by the folder itself.

From now on, when performing searches such as “health clinics near me,” users will also find a message with a direct link to the national vaccination calendar in the search results.

“In practice, when searching for vaccination sites, such as “Vaccination near me”, users will be able to access up-to-date information about address, phone number and opening hours, as well as a link to the national vaccination calendar, allowing them to follow up on vaccination appointments,” details the Ministry of Health. .
