“Where the Winds Meet” takes place during a period in ancient Chinese history in which five dynasties and ten kingdoms emerged. To bring this story to PS5, Everstone Studios will allow players to venture out into an open world, where they will show off their martial arts skills.

At State of Play this Thursday (30), the company released an interesting demo of the game. With mysterious and giant creatures like bosses and swordmasters doing their best, the gameplay may remind you of Sekiro. Check it below:

On the PS Blog, the developer had the following to say about adapting the young swordsman's moves shown above:

Where Winds Meet has the theme of oriental martial arts, and we attach great importance to introducing martial arts (Wuxia) elements into the game. Weapons are an important part of the player's combat ability. We have tried to restore a variety of weapons unique to the game's Wuxia martial arts, such as spear, sword, fan, double blades, umbrella, and halberd.
