After a decade of legal battle, the Municipal Public Employees Union of Conselheiro Lafayette has achieved a significant breakthrough in the courts. This amount represents compensation for failure to pay the minimum wage for the category during the aforementioned period. Valdini highlights that since 2014, the entity has fought tirelessly to ensure that employees' rights are respected. The non-payment of the minimum salary to ACEs and ACSs represents an ongoing injustice faced by these employees that has greatly impacted the lives of these professionals, who continue to perform their essential functions without the due pay required by federal law.
