The Akko State Health Supervision closed the Children's Emergency Hospital (Orgel) on Friday (14) after several notifications to the Public Ministry in Akko. The agency filed a lawsuit for the ban.
The action was brought due to inadequacy regarding the MPAC guidelines. Among the demands are: adequacy of internal procedures and identification; Build an elevator or ramp for patients on stretchers
In addition to health assessments of workers; Improving lighting and adjustments in the medical and radiology sectors.
As of now, there is no information on how care and hospitalization will be provided at the site.

“In 2022, MPAC met with hospital representatives to discuss Civil Inquiry No. 06.2022.00000234-7, which aimed to adapt and organize the hospital at that time.
Participants discussed the irregularities highlighted by the Regional Medical Council of Acre and the government health control in the private hospital directed at children and the need to improve the physical, operational and technical structure of the health unit.
Among the needs mentioned are the adequacy of internal procedures and identification of workers, patients and visitors, the establishment of an elevator or access ramp for patients on stretchers, periodic assessment of workers’ health, improvement of lighting, in addition to orderliness in the sector.
