Chevening Scholarships, a prestigious scholarship program in the United Kingdom, is now open for applications.
The scheme covers all educational expenses including university fees, flight tickets and financial assistance for maintenance during the study period.
In addition to its financial support, the program provides a global network of alumni, providing lifelong networking and professional development opportunities.
How to apply to study in UK for free
With wide possibilities for Brazilians, the scholarship is aimed at all ages, genders and regions, as long as they meet the eligibility criteria.
To apply, interested parties must demonstrate academic ability, leadership skills and a strong commitment to return to their home country to apply the knowledge gained in the UK.
The selection is highly competitive and candidates must be clear about their career goals and how studying in the UK can contribute to achieving them.
Registration is open until November 5 and can be done in person Program website. Classes for those selected will start between September and October 2025.
In addition to registering for the scholarship, the student must also register for the course they wish to enroll in. As of 2020, the program is no longer being heard English proficiency tests. However, you must apply to their university.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for a Chevening Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of a country or territory eligible for Chevening (Brazil included);
- Commit to return to your country of citizenship for at least two years after completing the program;
- must have met all the requirements of the undergraduate course allowing entry to a postgraduate program in the United Kingdom;
- Must have at least two years (2,800 hours) of professional experience;
- Apply to three eligible UK university courses and receive an unconditional offer to one of the options by the deadline specified in the application schedule.
