In the phone call with Fox, Trump improvised a refutation of Harris’s claims for about 10 minutes, going on to say that the vice president had not accomplished much during her tenure.

In a rare moment, when MacCallum was able to accurately point out that Harris was “having some success” with women, Latino and black voters, Trump flatly denied it.
“It’s not working,” he said. “I’m doing well with Hispanic voters, I’m doing well with black men, I’m doing well with women. They just have it in your eyes, Martha.” At one point, beeps suggested the former president had accidentally pressed buttons on his phone’s keypad.
Finally, while Trump was still mid-sentence, Baier decided to end the interview and thank his guest for participating. Fox immediately began airing its late-night comedy show, excluding the former president. If it hadn’t been for that, he might still be talking.
