A man rebels and seeks justice after his girlfriend, who won R.2 million on a scratch card, leaves him.

Michael Cartlidge, 39, and Charlotte Cox, 37, lived together in Spalding, Lincolnshire, England. The relationship developed quickly, and soon after they met, they decided to live under the same roof and share not only the space, but also the toothbrush.

However, the turnaround came just as quickly when Charlotte, 37, won a £1million prize on a scratch card. The sudden fortune changed the course of the relationship, and Charlotte decided to end her three-month relationship with Michael.

Unsatisfied with the outcome, Michael decided to seek justice to resolve the situation. He claims he suggested the idea of buying a scratch card to Charlotte, and even tried to transfer money to her to make the purchase. However, due to signal problems, the transaction was not completed in time, and Charlotte ended up purchasing the ticket with her own resources.

“I started the transfer and got up to show her. You can see me doing this on the store's CCTV. The signal was bad, so the transaction didn't go through immediately in the store,” Michael said, according to the Daily Star.

According to Michael's account, Charlotte initially agreed to share the award, but later changed her mind in an inexplicable way.
