An Afghan from the famous National Geographic cover welcomes asylum in Italy

Afghani Sharbat Gula, who became famous all over the world for her appearance on the cover of the magazine National Geographic, in 1985, exiled in Italy after leaving Afghanistan with The Taliban took over the country in August. Returning to her country of origin, she got a house from the Afghan government and a salary of about R$2,400 per month.
