Birmingham, a city in the mid-west of England, the central region of Great Britain, has approved the “Control Zone” law, as a measure to punish anyone who engages in any act or attempt to consent or not to consent to an abortion, near the centers in which it is performed.
She was arrested and released after posting bail on the condition that she not come into contact with a local Catholic priest involved in anti-abortion work. After the arrest, Isabelle said, “It is absolutely unfair to be searched, arrested, interrogated and accused just for praying in the privacy of my mind.” No one should be criminalized for it Think And praying in a public place in the UK.”
Jeremiah Igonopoli, legal advisor to the advocacy organization cold Christian ADF UK, said it was “really surprising that the law gives local authorities such broad and irresponsible power”.
