Ana Maria Braga slanders Globo herself in conversation with Hugo Calderano · TV News

The presenter Ana Maria Braga sent a hint to Globo herself about Mais Você this Thursday (15). When she received table tennis player Hugo Calderano, fourth at the Paris 2024 Olympics, for breakfast, she complained that the sporting competitions were not broadcast on television – even though her employer has sports channels dedicated exclusively to sports.

After viewing the testimonies of Calderano's family and friends, Anna Maria asked the athlete what he would do after the event in the French capital. “What's the next step now?” asked Loro Mani's “grandmother.”

“Now, I am taking a little rest here, but the table tennis calendar is very busy. So, we still have many competitions until the end of the year, and the Grand Smash in China, which compared to tennis, will be equal to the Grand Slam and table tennis have this calendar…” he explained.

“Ah, it’s a shame we can’t watch it here…” the announcer lamented. “Yes, all the competitions are broadcast,” Calderano corrected. “Is there?” Ana Maria was shocked. “I’ll give you the link later,” the table tennis player joked.

“And I think it’s great for people to also know that you can follow table tennis, the whole tournament,” Calderano noted. “Of course, all eyes are on us during the Olympics, but there’s a lot more to come. There’s the World Championships, the Pan American Games…”

“It would be nice to be able to go there with the flag,” the blonde lamented live. Felipe Andreoli, who was also present at the table, decided to intervene in the situation and overcome the possible climate. “I will show you everything on Globo Esporte, I guarantee this part. The rest…”, he joked.

Some of Calderano's recent table tennis tournaments have been streamed on Star+, which merged with Disney+ at the end of June. Qualifying matches are also streamed on the WTT (World Table Tennis) YouTube channel.
