This Monday (3), the 74-year-old presenter stated that her return to lead the attraction has been postponed due to medical recommendations. “I will need to stay in for a few more days of rest,” she declared on social media.
The veteran released a statement on her Instagram profile. Anna thanked the messages of support sent by netizens and said that she was looking forward to returning to the morning show. “I will need to rest for a few more days on medical advice. I will stay here at home, obediently, listening to my doctors (under protest),” he wrote.
“I want to take the opportunity to thank you for the many beautiful messages full of passion that I have received from you, it is so much love,” he continued. “I’m fine and I look forward to getting back soon.” Anna, who turned 74 on Saturday (1), still shared a record-breaking celebration of her birthday.
The veteran announced her departure from Mais Você on March 24. The presenter took a leave of absence due to varicose veins surgery. Since last week, Globo’s morning show has been helmed by Talitha Morete and Fabrício Battaglini.
“We stand a lot, we run a lot, gymnastics. I need to pack my leggings,” the veteran declared before taking the leave.
