Android 12 Beta 4 gets a new gamepad with Google Play Games update

The new features coming to Android 12 have been found by XDA Developers Team who have reviewed the latest version (v2021.07.28550) of the Google Play Games app now available on the Google Play Store.

As you can see below, Android 12 Beta 4 already has a floating menu for accessing useful gaming tools. On the screen, we have options to adjust the phone’s performance, start a live stream on YouTube and view the player’s profile on Google Play Games.

In addition, buttons are also available to turn Do Not Disturb mode on or off, capture screen, limit FPS and start screen recordings.

If your phone is already running Android 12 Beta 4, just update the Google Play Games version through the official app store to access all the news.

However, it must be said that only Google Play Games certified games show the popup with new features. Among those supported are Call of Duty: Mobile and SpongeBob: Battle for Bikini Bottom, although we hope more titles will join this list soon.

Finally, to activate the new menu, it is necessary to access the following menu:

  • Settings > Notifications > Do Not Disturb > Calendars > Power On
