This week Obsidian decided to show a little about Avowed, some gameplay snippets from the alpha game are already circulating online and we can analyze some aspects that many have missed, such as the verticality of the maps.
In Xbox Developers Direct, we did not see this, but in the second video released, it is possible to dive or perform “parkour” in a much better way than in Skyrim. It will also be possible to freeze water, for example, to create a new path.
Here we can see some of the climbing and exploration in the scenario:
👀🔥 Wow 🚨

We're still talking about the gameplay in the alpha phase, but in six months its graphics have improved dramatically! We want to follow its development through the end of the year and for Obsidian to show off a greater variety of enemies and explore all the elements of a good RPG.
