At least three British Royal Guardsmen collapsed during a rehearsal known as the Colonel’s Review this Saturday. With temperatures around 30ºC recorded in the United Kingdom, the final rehearsal of the military parade, which was personally overseen by the Prince of Wales, featured some hilarious moments.

Dressed in woolen uniforms and bearskin hats, the British soldiers braved the heat to escape. During the rehearsal, several photographs were taken of the fallen soldiers, who were assisted by a medical team.

Later, the Prince of Wales paid tribute to the soldiers on Twitter.

During the colonel’s press exercise, according to SKY News, around 1,400 soldiers and 200 horses from the Home Division and the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery marched to inspect Prince William, heir to the throne and honorary colonel of the Welsh Guards.

The rehearsal is in preparation for the June 17 “Trooping the Color” parade, which celebrates the reigning monarch’s birthday.
