Last weekend showed that Ferrari’s problem with finishing races is not limited to Formula 1. On the same day that Charles Leclerc was forced to abandon the Bahrain Grand Prix due to mechanical failures, a video went viral showing two Ferraris crashing against each other. After the drivers lost control of the super sports cars.

The same incident occurred on Saturday, but it wasn’t made public until the next day. The drivers were racing aboard the 296 GTB Assetto Fiorano and F12 Berlinetta. CCTV footage shows the Ferrari 296 GTB leading the race before hitting the wall. The F12 Berlinetta, which comes right behind, follows the same path as the ‘competitor’ and also crashes.

However, the damage to the F12 Berlinetta was slightly greater, as it caught fire shortly afterwards and may have suffered a total loss.
