Brazil still ranks 64th in the global ranking for the application of doses Covid-19 Vaccine This is the (first) Tuesday for every 100 inhabitants. The country, which started vaccination four months ago, was already 56th in this ranking, but 64th since last Thursday (28).
Among the countries that make up the G20, a grouping of the world’s 20 largest economies, the country remains in tenth place. According to data updated by CNN, Brazil appears with 32.21 doses applied per 100 inhabitants.
Followed by the United Kingdom at the top of the list with a score of 95.63. The United States ranks second with a score of 88.19. Canada came in third (63.22), followed by Germany (59.61), Italy (57.81) and France (53.61).
China (45.96) is in seventh place, followed by Saudi Arabia, with 40.81 doses of the vaccine against Covid-19 applied to every 100 inhabitants. Turkey comes next with a score of 34.59.
Looking at the absolute numbers of vaccination, China continues to lead the ranking, with 661.4 million doses already applied. The United States is in second place, with 294.9 million doses applied.
Then comes India, where 210.4 million doses have been applied. Brazil is still in fourth place, with 68.2 million doses applied – the same situation if we consider the G20 countries.
The United Kingdom remains in fifth place, with 64.9 million doses applied in absolute numbers. CNN collected the data with information from state health departments and the Our World in Data website linked to the University of Oxford in the UK.
