Brazil is once again considered one of the most attractive countries for foreign investment. According to the Foreign Direct Investment Confidence Index. It is carried out annually by Kearney ConsultingThe country ranks nineteenth among 25 prominent countries. In 2022, Brazil ranked 22nd. In 2023, it was excluded from the list.
The research supporting the indicator was conducted in January this year. Interviews were conducted with executives from companies, located in 30 countries and from different sectors, with annual revenues starting from US$500 million (R$2.5 billion).
During the questionnaire, they answer the probability of their companies making direct investments in the next three years in a country. This is how indicators of the attractiveness of countries are calculated.
The United States tops the rankings, occupying first place for the twelfth year in a row.
