Brian Johnson opens the game and doesn’t say the words

In 2016, AC/DC had to postpone the last 10 dates of their “Rock Or Bust” tour, as the Medical Board advised Brian Johnson to stop playing live, as he was at risk of losing his hearing completely. Axl Rose, the voice of Guns N’ Roses, was set to replace Johnson at the end of the tour.

The band completed the European and North American stage of the tour with the Guns N’ Roses captain. However, according to Ultimate Classic Rock, Johnson wrote in his autobiography Brian’s life who have never seen the videos of Rose’s performance with the band.

“I was told he did a great job, but I couldn’t watch. It was like coming home and seeing a stranger sitting in his favorite chair. This has been my place for 35 years.” Brian said.

Although initially distrustful, the Guns N’ Roses singer was praised, both for his performance and for salvaging old songs from the playlist – some of which haven’t been played live since the Bon Scott days. However, Brian only knows what he’s heard about.

Also, according to Brian, the attacker ensures that there are no negative feelings towards the mic or bandmate. “I have no regrets. It was a difficult situation. Angus [Young] And the men did what they felt was right.” – he said.

Angus Young’s opinion

In response to a question about the possibility of continuing with the Guns N’ Roses captain, Angus answered for Total Guitar:

“That was never a possibility. Axl was really very generous, he helped us get through our touristic side in a tough place. He called us and said he could help if it didn’t conflict with his obligations, what he would do.”

Angus also added that despite Axel’s excitement, he has his own obligations:

“He wanted to come and try some songs that he loves himself, and he was suggesting songs we haven’t played in a long time. I am definitely thankful he volunteered, and that helped us finish our engagement. But he has his own life.”

After some experimental treatments, Brian returned to AC/DC, having recorded his latest album, “Power Up”. The band hasn’t done another tour yet.

The movie “The Lives of Brian” is now sold in the English version. Published in the UK by Penguin Michael Joseph. In the United States, it is distributed by Dey Street Books.
