Carrefour Brazil (CRFB3) reported total consolidated sales of R$27.8 billion in the first quarter of 2024 (1Q24), an increase of 2.5% compared to the first quarter of 2023 (1Q2023).

Gross trading volume (GMV) reached R$2.4 billion in this period, a growth of 52% year-on-year.

In contrast, cash and carry (C&C) sales totaled R$ 19.3 billion, 6.6% higher than in the first quarter of 2023, driven by growth in same-store sales (LfL) of +1.8% in the year-over-year comparison and due to 4.5% growth in sales Atakadaw.
