The Rio de Janeiro State Union of Artists and Technicians of Entertainment (Sated-RJ) has obtained a court order to prevent the participation of economist and former BBB Gilberto Nogueira, known as Gil do Vigor, in the TV series “Família é Tudo”, from Globo.
The report had direct access to the documents of the case, which is being heard in the 58th Labor Court in Rio de Janeiro. The artists' union had its request granted by Judge Luciana Gonçalves de Oliveira, who agreed with the arguments.
The union claims that Gil de Vigor does not have a professional representation registration. In these cases, Globo requires a special permit so that people can participate in the artistic attractions. The union states that Globo has not yet requested this request.
Furthermore, the union accuses Globo of breaking the law so that Gil could participate in the series, which in the judge's view is aggravating the case.
In the plot of the seventh hour, written by Daniel Ortiz, Gil will be “Gil do Veneno”, a professional gossip with the same characteristics as the former BBB in real life, which in theory would be a special appearance, without having to. for the record.
In her ruling, the judge agreed that SADT needed to be notified so that Gil could participate in the conspiracy. She asked that Globo be notified urgently of the ban.
The decision read: “Urgent protection is granted to determine the prohibition of Gilberto José Nogueira Júnior, known as Gil do Vigor, from participating in any program to act as an artist, until Globo adds to the records the contract signed with him.”
If Globo fails to comply with the injunction, the broadcaster will have to pay a fine of R$30,000. Globo can appeal the decision. Gil do Vigor will record his first scenes next week. It is not yet known how the case will end.
