UFC London, the event that took place last Saturday (19), was historic. The attraction had a large audience, part of the fighters from the UK admired the octagon and Dana White, the leader of the organization, agreed with what he saw. Even top hat has already advanced that the company should set up a new show in England in the 2022 season. However, the businessman revealed that the show could be even bigger.
At the press conference held in London after the UFC, Dana lamented the fact that the important fight between Camaro Usman, the company’s welterweight champion (77 kg), and Britain’s Leon Edwards was not part of the show. As the fight involving the tops of the category deserves its title, the organization’s leader indicated that the fight would give the event that took place last Saturday a touch of grandeur.
“The only thing that would make tonight better, if you could make tonight better, would be if Usman and Edwards were the main event and Aspinal was the joint main event. So the answer is yes. I wanted to do that. I wanted this event to have a title fight. I was going to change things up, trying to make things happen, but Usman’s hand wasn’t ready. I’ll pay to watch here. I will. I’ll attend a title fight here,” the hat announced.
In all, 12 UFC London tag fights were made and the nine athletes who won their matches on the fast track received the “Perform of the Night” bonus. In the attraction area, Arnold Allen, Ilya Topuria, Makwan Amirkhani, Molly McCann, Muhammed Mokiv, Paddy Pemblet, Paul Craig, Sergey Pavlovich and Tom Aspinal were the highlights.
