The town where the attack took place is 30 kilometers from Liverpool. According to local police and emergency services, other victims include children. Officials are yet to release further details on their numbers or condition.
The suspect, who has already been arrested, allegedly invaded a property located in a residential area of the city and stabbed the occupants.
Local newspapers found a group of children participating in a yoga class in the area.

A store owner on the same street as the attack told The Associated Press that he saw seven to 10 bloodied children running out of the house after the incident.
– It looks like something you'd see in America – businessman Colin Barry, owner of a local auto repair shop, witnessed the attack.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer called the case “terrifying and deeply shocking”.
Yvette Cooper, the United Kingdom's home secretary, said the British government was in talks with local authorities. He also said he was “deeply concerned” about the situation as knife attacks were not common in the UK.
