Just imagine: you are walking down the street and suddenly you have the small urge to eat kebab on the skewer. After buying meat on a stick, you eat the food and satiate the hunger of the moment. Until then, all the best!
What if, by chance, there was a dog tracking chip inside the skewer, with the possibility that she might have swallowed it? It seems very specific, right? This is what happened to a woman from Chile. Information from the portal Biobio Chile.
The case was reported by Chancellor Michel Tabello to the Estación Central Municipal Council, noting that her neighbor had swallowed a dog tracking chip.

According to the councilman, this could have happened after the woman ate antico (meat prepared with pieces of beef) on the street.
By eating the meat inside, the woman’s health was affected.
Chip ingestion complaint
The city council learned of what happened on Tuesday (5), ratified by a statement posted by Michele Tabello on social networks, saying:
“Dear Neighbors: Yesterday (…) I reported the case of a neighbor who had eaten anticucho in the street; she arrived at the hospital with an upset stomach and unfortunately had a puppy chip in her stomach.”
Following the statement, the municipality reinforced their demand not to consume street products, as well as responsible ownership of pets. The chancellor claimed that he requested “food control in illegal trade”, so that such cases would not affect the residents of the municipality again.
The company’s National Registry of Responsible Pet Ownership reports that it provides identification service for domestic dogs and cats, should the tracking chip be lost.
The specific microchip is described as a small capsule, about the same size as a grain of rice.
