Dylan Minnette has explained why he put acting aside. The star, who is best known for his role as Clay Jensen in 13 Reasons Why, spoke about his passion and desires for his career. In a recent interview with the Zach Sang Show, he explained that his focus now is on music with his band Wallows.
“I've been fortunate to be successful [atuando]”He began. “I was on '13 Reasons Why.' I was very popular and definitely reached my peak in acting. But it's also starting to feel a bit like work. And I was in a very happy place, and it was always fun for me, and it was always very inspiring, but then it started to feel like it was just work.It is to explain.
Minetti started acting at the age of eight. Since then, he has played a variety of roles, but has now decided to continue in music, as he and his bandmates, Brayden LeMasters and Cole Preston, have always dreamed of following that path “as much as they can.” “I feel like I'm now in a position where I can do this for a while and get as far as I can.”he added.
“The only way this can happen is if I put 100% of my time and energy into this and take it seriously and show the world that we all take this seriously. Minette said following her passion for music is “what feels natural and inspiring” right now. However, he is thinking about returning to the screen. In fact, he was going to come back last year, but the opportunity came during the actors' strike.
“I really feel like I have something to offer, and maybe that's acting… I feel like I'm starting to feel inspired to do it again.”He completed it. “At some point, when we're done with Wallows duties and we're all ready to take a break as a band, then I'll have the perfect inspiration to do something.”I finish.
