EA is shutting down servers for Crysis 3, Dead Space 2, and Dante’s Inferno

Electronic Arts has surreptitiously revealed that some of its classic titles from the Xbox 360/PS3 era will shut down their servers later this year, namely Crysis 3, Dead Space 2 and Dante’s Inferno.

Although the publisher has not yet officially disclosed, the shutdown of the servers of these games is already on their official website.

The first game to lose its servers is Crysis 3, which will shut down in less than a month on September 7th. Dead Space 2 and Dante’s Inferno’s online servers will shut down after about two months on December 8, along with several Battlefield titles, including Battlefield 1943 and Battlefield: Bad Company 1 and 2.

If you’re still playing multiplayer in any of these games, you won’t be able to play much longer, so enjoy it while you can!

Anyway, considering that these games already have many years over them, it’s possible that their communities are very small and even non-existent. You might not have known that they have some multiplayer modes.

Check it all out in more detail at EA website.
