At the CES 2023 event, Samsung prepared displays that were shown and detailed to the public. We’re here to pass it on!

Among the attractions are the “Flex Hybrid,” a combination of foldable and sliding features into a single screen or into larger screens, which will be the prototype for future laptops. For TVs, QD-OLED 2023 is optimized using optimization algorithms and materials that adjust the picture quality.

Flex Hybrid OLED, foldable and sliding

An evolution of what has already been presented in the previous lines, is the Flex Hybrid OLED, a prototype of a foldable and sliding screen. Users can watch movies and videos on a 10.5-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 4:3 or a larger 12.4-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 16:10.

Another attraction is the 17-inch sliding screen, which was shown earlier at Intel Innovation 2022. According to the product descriptions, there are two concepts: Flex Slidable Solo, which can expand the screen in one direction, and Flex Slidable Duet, which extends the screen in both directions.

The screen is portable, initially measuring 13 to 14 inches and going up to 17.3 inches, and is designed for multitasking, gaming, and Movies.

the Samsung The display completes the 2023 lineup with the addition of QD-OLED screens to a stunning large-format 77-inch TV, the largest in the QD-OLED family.

Products in the 2023 range are optimized with an advanced optimization algorithm, IntelliSense AI, which collects information by pixel and uses it to control light. The material is OLED Hyper Efficient EL, which increases the efficiency of the light source and gives a brighter and clearer color conversion layer.

Finally, it was announced that QD-OLED 2023 has reduced power consumption compared to the 2022 model year by up to 25%, especially after applying high-efficiency materials.
