Former UK sports minister calls for 'calm' over Paris 2024

Robertson does not believe the images will have an impact on potential visitors to the Paris Games.


“We are still more than a year away from the opening ceremony, which is a long time when organising something as important as the Games,” he noted.


“People who have already bought their income will come anyway, while others think there is still a long way to go and will not give up on moving forward,” he adds.


“Keep calm and focused,” I advise the British to organise the Paris 2024 Games.
