“I found out what happened in Conde di Montebello, at the meeting with entrepreneurs that my mother had organized to showcase her work… And you’re right in thinking that there was some sabotage,” Preciosa begins.
The businesswoman says the whole situation was the fault of one of the employees, but be careful, Luna doesn’t seem to believe the story. Preciosa then says she is there to try to repair the damage to the artisan’s vital gems and reaches out for an envelope containing a cheque.
“Go away and take that check from here. Such an old and tacky thing,” says Luna, returning the envelope to the businesswoman.
Preciosa still insists that she is trying to fix the mistake and become a better person, but Luna does not believe her words and decides to leave.
Shortly thereafter, Luna regrets being so harsh on the businesswoman and decides to go after her. As Preciosa was walking towards her car muttering insults, the craftsman called her and apologized.
“I came to say that… As far as it depends on me, we are at peace.”
However, at that moment, some motorcycles surrounded the two of them, which seemed to be making a lot of noise. When a motorcyclist takes off his helmet, Luna immediately recognizes it: it’s Mirika (Rowan Aguiar).
The bandits snatch the key from Preciosa’s hand and order the two to get into the businesswoman’s car. They are taken to a bunker where they are tied back to back.
When they realize they have been kidnapped, they despair and end up arguing, but then calm down and play soccer to try to pass the time. Meanwhile, Merica calls Pasquale (Giuliano Kazari) to demand Preciosa’s ransom.
After playing with Luna for a while, Preciosa gets angry again, and the two exchange barbs again. Then the biojewelry designer said she wanted to ask Preciosa a question. “It’s about… your father.”he says, leaving the businesswoman surprised.
