North American journalist Glenn Greenwald on Sunday (7) accused Chico Pinheiro of being part of the “Labour faction.” On his personal Twitter page, Greenwald denied that he had criticized President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and that he had always praised him for “defending Assange”. During his visit to London on the occasion of the coronation of King Charles III, Lula criticized the arrest of Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, who is imprisoned in England.
But in the same series of posts congratulating Lula on his position, Glenn lamented the President and Labor’s support for Fake News PL. The journalist agrees with the bolsonarians, evangelicals and “technologists” who call the project censorship.
But they spread the lie that Lula was denounced for it [por suas declarações]. Pure lie. This is why I don’t trust this camp or faction of the Labor Party to have the ability to censor ‘fake news’.”
Nobody spreads lies and misinformation – fake news – more than they do. No human group should be trusted to prevent the abuse of this power against its enemies. Remember: Marina Silva said that it was the Workers’ Party, not the Bolsonarians, who invented the “hate bureau”, continued.
As reported by journalist and professor Evan Freitas. “Seeing these two liars and their cronies spreading these lies – I support the arrest of Assange, our great friend – is disgusting,” he said.
