The Portuguese catering group, founded and chaired by Olivier da Costa, is expanding operations to London, Nice, Rome and Tenerife as it seeks to strengthen its team with “the best chefs, waiters, hostesses, bartenders, barmaids, sushimen and sushi girls”.
Currently, the Olivier Restaurantes Group has more than 500 direct and indirect employees, spread across 21 restaurants in operation. After Brazil and Thailand, the creator of the brands Guilty, KOB, SEEN, XXL and Yakuza takes his team to France in 2021, making 2023 the year to launch in Spain (Tenerife), Italy and the United Kingdom. Applications should be sent to [email protected].
“Demand records throughout 2022, with reservations sold out in many of our concepts at different times of the year, point to the end of fears about the pandemic. We will not compromise on the best experience for customers, so we are looking for the best in both existing restaurants and new openings,” said Grupo Olivier Restaurants’ Commercial and Marketing director Joel Byers explained in a statement. “The strengthening of operations is reflected in the recruitment drive, where we expect to require 200 new professionals in Portugal, Spain and France, Rome and London.”
