A story that looks like a movie happened to a US couple this week. The duo have gone from heaven to hell, and again to heaven, due to their passion for Tottenham and Harry Kane’s interest.

It all started when the two were scheduled to watch a team match in the UK. Tottenham will face Burnley, in the Premier League, on Sunday (28), but the match was postponed due to a snow storm that covered the stadium in white.

Despite moments of tension and disappointment at not being able to watch the match, the end was a happy one, with the team’s star, Harry Kane, feeling sorry for the duo and invited the two to watch another Tottenham game.

The Americans’ adventure began with a 31-hour flight from Dallas, Texas, to England. The trip was so tiring that there was no time to eat, they posted.

“From Dallas to London, then Burnley (we’re almost done), 31 hours, sleepless, feasting on coffee, cheese crackers and more coffee. A snowy, cold day is planned for game day. What do we do when we love our club,” read the post on Twitter.

The pair were disappointed by the unexpected, and ended up hilarious after striker Harry Kane learned the story. The player has pledged to take over the duo in another commitment to the London team.

“I just had this tweet and was totally sad for you guys. This is the obligation, to make up for the game being cancelled, to invite you to the next game at home the next time you come to London,” he declared.

Harry Kane’s solidarity has received a quick response from the couple, also via Twitter. “Hello Harry, it is not necessary, but we would love to accept the offer. Thanks to all the Spurs supporters (and other football supporters) who have reached out. It has been truly amazing.”
