IO Interactive, the studio responsible for the Hitman franchise, is expanding. On Thursday (06), the company announced the opening of a new office in Brighton, United Kingdom, a region that managing director Hakan Abrak sees potential for growth.
It’s worth noting that the studio is currently taking care of Project 007, an original title inspired by the James Bond franchise, and Project Fantasy, an online RPG. In a press release, Abrak said:
We are very proud and excited to open our next studio in Brighton, where we see huge potential to expand our incredible team and attract top talent from the exciting UK development scene. We look forward to expanding our operations to new lands and believe that IOI Brighton is a very attractive location for developers of all trades.
All five of IO Interactive’s studios will make “significant contributions” to the company’s development and output, including the aforementioned projects and the Hitman franchise.
